Obra 1 de XXX is a science fiction novel by Olaf Stapledon, published in 1937.  The book tackles philosophical themes such as the essence of life, of birth, decay and death, and the relationship between creation and creator.
A pervading theme is that of progressive unity within and between different civilizations. Arthur C. Clarke considered Star Maker to be one of the finest works of science fiction ever written. Acerca del artista


Obsesionado por la forma, el volumen y la simetría, él enfatiza la importancia de la simetría en cada pieza. "Mi camino creativo se encuentra entre un sueño pacífico y una realidad matemática nacida como una ilusión óptica del espectador que yo llamo Poesía Geométrica”



Como artista cinético, Gerstl busca la integración entre la pieza y el espectador. "No soy un artista cuyo trabajo está dedicado solo a mis sentimientos o mi vida, los protagonistas son las piezas y los sentimientos que se producen en el espectador”.
